Serving the Area Since 1935
The Gardners started serving Van Wert and the surrounding area in 1935 with the opening of Gardner Lumber Company in Ohio City, Ohio. Gregg Gardner was the president of the Lumberyard in 1962, and decided to go into the residential remodeling business. After graduation, his son, Aaron, joined him in 1978, and the company became Gardner's Home Improvement. The longevity of our company is due to the quality workmanship, products, and service we give to our clients.
We Are Not Satisfied Until You Are
We treat every customer's home as if it were our own. Our goal is that when we complete your project, you will have a big smile on your face. The work areas are covered, and when the work is complete, the floors are swept and any stickers on the glass are removed and completely washed. All of the old windows are hauled away. Before we leave, we show you how everything works and all warranties are given and explained.
Windows Are What We Do
Today 99% of contractors are doing siding, roofing, plumbing, garages, concrete work, etc., and then installing some windows every now and then. Gardner's found that it is difficult to be knowledgeable and efficient when you try to do everything, so in 1983, Gardner’s decided to specialize in windows. That way, all of their energy could be put into doing one thing and being the best at it. This way, we can stay up to date on the latest improvements in window technology, and give our clients the very best products and workmanship.
